Construction has commenced on the lot with the completion of the slab on stem walls to comply with Charlotte County's 10-foot (above sea level) elevation requirements. Once the slab was poured and allowed to cure (for over 3 weeks), the workers had the product delivered and placed and began constructing the panel tracks on the slab while the center beam in the middle of the home was constructed out of 20-gauge steel with self-tapping screws. As of August 3, 2020, the walls and roof will be assembled and the entire house enclosed by August 10, 2020. This is the speed and ease of this type of steel SIPS construction, which has a 2-hour fire rating and promises an R-value of at least 60!
